Calton Cases are available in 2 finish grades. The Standard Calton Case features a charcoal grey exterior with red interior, one locking catch and a personalized name plate. The Deluxe Calton Case features an extra layer of fibreglass for added strength, locks on all catches, a shoulder strap, personalized name plate, and your choice of exterior and interior colours from our available selection.
CALTON custom fitted fiberglass instrument cases are rugged, well balanced and attractive hard shelled cases with interiors tailored to each instrument. Each half of every case is hand moulded in a single piece, using pigmented resin, with no seams to separate and colour that is integral to the fibreglass. All hardware is high quality plated steel, attached to the case with steel rivets and reinforcing plates. Careful attention is paid to the placement of the leather handle in order to provide the optimum in comfort and balance.
A PVC strip completely edges both top
and bottom halves of the case. This strong, flexible strip, combined
with the natural water repellent qualities of fibreglass, provides
an almost perfect seal against the elements. Case interiors are hand
crafted from high quality foam padding, using up to 15 measurements
and a template of the instrument. All interior surfaces are finished
in crushed velour, and the pickbox is topped with a large foam pad
that cushions the neck. The neck is further protected with a padded
guide that restricts side-to-side movement.

Custom
Cases: Calton Cases are designed
around particular instruments, but the custom nature of our
product means they can be adapted to accommodate a variety
of stringed instruments or configurations.
Double cases can be created for such instrument combinations as violin/viola, violin/mandolin, mandolin/ukulele, etc. (such as the Mandolin/Violin combination case shown), while many other models may be modified to fit your particular instrument. For suitability and an

The Standard Calton Case comes
with all locking catches and heavy duty leather handle. We can
reinforce the case with extra layers of fibreglass if required.
We can also supply shoulder straps (D rings are in place as standard);
using two shoulder straps we can "Back Pack" the case. Each and every Calton Case is custom-fitted to a specific instrument, using up to 15 measurements and a template of the instrument itself.
