About Us

 Hillbillys was started when my wife Sue, gave me, as one of my Christmas presents, a set of Dueling Banjo Bears that play the music from the film Deliverance. So many people asked us could we get hold of them that we brought 100 and imported them from America. We took them to bluegrass festival and we were literally mobbed for them. We have since collected everything and anything we can find to do with bluegrass music or hillbillys. We do as many festivals as we can in the UK and abroad, including most of the "House of Plank" events. When you next see us at a festival, pop in and have some Vitals from Granny's / Sue's kitchen, and Johnny B's Still always has a drop, or just have a warm around the pot bellied stove, no joking. Don't forget, "You all come back now ya hear" !
